This was a good time for us all very casual and so laid back.
Swimming with the turttles and the sea lions was the highlight of the trip.

The last 8 or so pictures are of Quito, Ecuador the Galapagos are just off of the coast of Ecuador.

The animals are so used to people that you could just walk upa nd take the pictures.
This was so interesting.

Machu Picchu, Peru

Click here for Machu Picchu pictures

Gilmar, was our gide for this trip. He has to be one of the best guides that we have ever had on any of our tours. It is a lot of fun traveling with Billy and Myron. They are so easy to send the time with......
You will see us strattl'n the equator, taking the Orient Express up to Machu Picchu, shopping in the local outdoor "mall",,, we had a ball.

Words can not describe how amazing Machu Picchu is in person. The how did they do that is not enough...... spacemen, that is the only explaination. This was all done prior to the Incas having any form of writting.......

5 -10 - 16 ton stones grond down so flat that they are table tops, fitting so close together that you can not slide a knife blade between them. It is beautiful, the people are friendly, the food is great,,,,, what more could one ask...

Portofino, Italy - July 2006

Click here to see Portofino, Italy

This is a beautiful location. The pictures can not do it justice. Up at the Splendido Hotel Jill had to have a hat for $50.00 thank you very much.......

Notice that even the little old ladies ride scooters. See the yachts, wow, these are some big boats,, i wonder how many rentals it would take to buy one of those!!!!!

But, this is the prettiest place that we have been to yet.

Corsica

Click here to see the Corsica pictures

Corsica has the great olive oil. We bought some at the little 'store' up in the mountains. Then we bought some more in the market along with the fruit......

This was a great sight seeing trip around the countryside, wow are the roads narrow. So pretty but nobody around. They were too smart, it was hot and they were out of there......

Puerto Venere

Click here to see Cinque Terra - Puerto Venere

This was just as beautiful as it looks. The area is fantastic, would not want to live there. Those terraced hills are where the grapes grow and in the old days they took them up the hill in a basket,,,,, on foot. WOW

Cinque Terra is that coast line that we went down. The little towns along the way where we would pull into were just as pretty as they look in the picture.

Jill had to have her coffee.

Monte Carlo,,,, Eze,,, The Palace Day 2

Click here to see Monte Carlo, Eze, The Palace

Hot and humid. But, that is so beautiful and being able to stay at the Hotel de Paris, well words can not say how fun that was.

The yachts, the 60 footers, when they pulled out to the port, looked small compared to the truely big ones. Those guys are not selling rental insurance for a living that is for sure.
